You connect both apps — your source (where scores live today) and your destination (where you want them copied). We show a preview of your rounds, you choose what to import, then we write those rounds to the destination using your authorized session.

This is a one-time migration, not background sync. When you finish (or your session expires), nothing keeps running.

Most people finish in a few minutes once both apps are connected. Time depends on how many rounds you import and whether you unlock the full migration for hole-level stats.

Your browser session stays active for about 30 minutes so you can preview, pay if needed, and migrate without logging in again for every round.

Yes. Preview and import need a live session to both the source and destination accounts. Connect the source first, then the destination on the next step — the wizard walks you through it in order.

Each license is tied to one Grint account — that is the account we verify at checkout and activation. For 18Birdies → The Grint, Grint is your destination, so that rule matches where your history is landing. For The Grint → 18Birdies, the license still binds to your Grint account (the source you export from).

You still connect both apps in order before preview and migrate. Direction only changes which app is step 1 vs step 2.

18Birdies — usually yes. 18Birdies allows only one active login at a time. When you connect here, that new session typically signs you out of the 18Birdies app on your phone. Sign back into the app after you finish migrating (or use the app first, then run Transfore when you are ready).

The Grint — usually no. In our experience, connecting through Transfore does not kick you off The Grint mobile app the same way. Your phone session often stays active.

Either way, we use your password only once to obtain session tokens, then discard it immediately. Those browser tokens are separate from your phone apps.

You can preview your full round list for free. The free tier lets you import 1 round per migration (summary scores). Unlocking with a license removes the round limit and includes hole-by-hole detail when available — putts, tee accuracy, and per-hole scores.

By default we skip duplicates — same date, gross score, and 9 vs 18 holes — so you do not create twin scorecards. You can turn that off on the migrate screen if you intentionally want to retry.

No. Transfore is an independent tool. You authorize us to move your own data between apps you already use. We do not sell your information or run ongoing sync in the background.
